保山學(xué)院藝術(shù)學(xué)院現(xiàn)有音樂(lè)學(xué)（本科）、美術(shù)學(xué)（本科）、視覺(jué)傳達(dá)（本科）、環(huán)境設(shè)計(jì)（本科）、產(chǎn)品設(shè)計(jì)（本科）、藝術(shù)教育（本科）、音樂(lè)教育（?？疲?、美術(shù)教育（專科），音樂(lè)表演（?？疲?、9個(gè)專業(yè)。有來(lái)自全國(guó)各地的在校學(xué)生1090人。現(xiàn)有教職工64人，其中教授5人，副教授15人，講師20人，助教24人，碩士研究生40人。在國(guó)家核心、省級(jí)以上刊物發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文300多篇，省級(jí)以上獲獎(jiǎng)200多項(xiàng)，出版專著4本，教材3本。有較為完善的教學(xué)設(shè)備，擁有一支結(jié)構(gòu)合理，治學(xué)嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)，作風(fēng)扎實(shí)，勇于奉獻(xiàn)，敢于開(kāi)拓，求真務(wù)實(shí)的教學(xué)團(tuán)隊(duì)。經(jīng)過(guò)10余年的努力，我院音樂(lè)教育辦學(xué)、民族聲樂(lè)人才培養(yǎng)在全省名列前茅，享有極高聲譽(yù)。
經(jīng)過(guò)10余年的建設(shè)與發(fā)展，藝術(shù)學(xué)院目前擁有以下幾項(xiàng)教學(xué)質(zhì)量工程建設(shè)項(xiàng)目：
（一）省級(jí)重點(diǎn)專業(yè)：2007年音樂(lè)教育專業(yè)被云南省教育廳評(píng)定為重點(diǎn)建設(shè)專業(yè)。（云教高[2007]58號(hào))
（二）省級(jí)特色專業(yè)：2008年音樂(lè)教育專業(yè)被云南省教育廳評(píng)定為云南省首批高等院校特色專業(yè)。（云教函[2008]439號(hào))
（三）省級(jí)精品課程：2007年《聲樂(lè)》課被云南省教育廳評(píng)定為云南省高職高專類省級(jí)精品課程。（云教高[2007]48號(hào))
（四）省級(jí)農(nóng)村中小學(xué)音樂(lè)教師實(shí)訓(xùn)基地：2009年被云南省教育廳評(píng)定為“云南省農(nóng)村中小學(xué)音樂(lè)教師實(shí)驗(yàn)培訓(xùn)基地”。（云教函[2009]73號(hào))
（五）省級(jí)人才培養(yǎng)模式創(chuàng)新實(shí)驗(yàn)區(qū)：2010年被云南省教育廳評(píng)定為云南省“綜合能力型”音樂(lè)教育人才培養(yǎng)模式創(chuàng)新實(shí)驗(yàn)區(qū)。（云教高[2010]78號(hào))
在學(xué)院黨委的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)及我院全體教師的共同努力下，藝術(shù)學(xué)院將為適應(yīng)21世紀(jì)經(jīng)濟(jì)建設(shè)和文化發(fā)展的需要，培養(yǎng)大批高級(jí)藝術(shù)人才而不斷努力。
School of Arts has 6 undergraduate majors, Musicology, Fine Arts, Visual Communication,
Environment Design, Product Design and Fashion Design. There are 3 junior college majors,
Music Education, Fine Arts Education and Music Performance. At present, there are 1090 students
from all over the country in the School of Arts. We have64 members working in the faculty
including 5 professors, 15 associate professors, 20 lecturers and 24 teaching assistants.
Among which 39 have master’s degree. So far, we have published more than 300 academic 300
papers on both national and provincial level journals and have won over 200 rewards. Besides,
we have published 4 monographs and 3 course books. School of Arts has excellent teaching
facilities, meanwhile it has an excellent teaching team which has reasonable structure,
rigorous scholarship, high morality and realistic and pragmatic.After over 10 years efforts,
our Musical Education Major and National Vocal Music Major have got a good reputation in
training special talents.
After 10 year’s efforts, we have established several quality project items:
(一) The Music Education Major was listed as Yunnan Provincial Key Major by the Department
of Education Yunnan Province in 2007. (YJG 2007 No.58)
(二) The Music Education Major was listed as Yunnan Provincial Special Major by the Department
of Education Yunnan Province in 2008. (YJH 2008 No.439)
(三) The Course of Vocal Music was listed as Yunnan Provincial Quality Course for Vocational
Junior College students by the Department of Education Yunnan Province in 2007. (YJG 2007 No.48)
(四) The School of Arts was listed as the Provincial Level Training Base for Rural Primary and
Secondary School Music Teachers by the Department of Education Yunnan Province in 2009.
